Reading Activity

For reading we had to make a timeline of a book we read, my book was about londonbridge burning down.

Three Little Pigs

                 Three little piglets summary

This book starts with three dirty piglets having to leave home, there mum tells them to watch out for the big bad wolf, none of them took much notice.

They start their journey it was still day time when the first one saw a man on the side of the road selling a bale of straw, the first little piglet brought it. He built his house as the other two walked on, the first little was cossy in his new house.

The second and third little piglets kept walking until the second one sore a man trying to sell a pile of sticks, by this time the sun was going down the second piglet brought the sticks. The second piglet built his house then went to sleep.

It was night and the third little piglet was tiyid he wanted to go to sleep, he saw a man trying to sell a pile of bricks. The third little brought them and built his house he fell asleep in front of his strong warm fireplace.

The next day the big bad wolf came to the first little piglets house, the wolf huffed and puffed then the wolf blow the house down then the wolf chased the first little piglet to the second little piglets house.

The wolf huffed and puffed then the house fell down the first and second little piglet ran to the third little piglets house where they were safe, the wolf went down the chimney as he was unable to blow the house down. The wolf fell in a hot pot he never came back.

Term Four Inquiry

For social studies this term, we have had to learn a traditional māori skill that we could pass on to others. My skill was to weave a flax flower, i used two types of flax which contained red and green flax. I learnt that you cut the outside leaves of the bush, you cut the leaves on an angle. My big question was why was weaving such a big thing in māori culture, my response was it was a cheep resources that you can nearly do anything with. Weaving a flax flower was a difficult task. My expert that taught me was my mum, see has made hepes.

HOW TO MAKE A FLAX FLOWER.
You will need:

  • One strip of flax
  • Scissors
  • Yourself
Fold the flax, split it in half. Twist two to three times to make the the bude, hold tightly. Rap the flax and then twist outwards, do this multiple times still hold tightly. With the leftover flax spit with your fingernail and tie around bottom of flower. You will now have a flax flower.

Speach

Papa jim said i'm not old! As he woke up, he lifted his arms, he moved his knees. he looked so sore, he turned neck, every thing made the same noise crrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaack, I can to the concussion he is old, then he said son i feel as fresh as a daisy this is the best i have felt in 50 years. But to be old do you have to have a hank-a- chief up your sleeve or pills in your pocket. Not all old people are boring, ugly, angry and death that is just stereotype. This is what I’ll be talking about today. Why do people think like this, saying old people are wrinkly and boring, there ludicrous to think like this hoh, ( # shake head) because truly i think they are the most amazing people, ummmm sometimes. And this is why you should listen to me. Not all serotypes are right like for example in moves rich people are snarky and mean, but the richest man in the world has given more than 50 million! dollars to charities around the world. At the end of this seech you would have fownd out that mot all serotypes are right Lets start with beauty and beast! some old people are plain ugly with bags and wrinkles, then there are the angels some look 20, 25 so i believe people got that serotype rong. Are your grandparents boring, bo they play cards and read books all the time #boring. Or do they go to parties and do parkour and have palow fights with you FUN! i believe people got that serotype rong as well 2 down 1 to go ANGER!! do old people you know get angry and do they boss you around do this do that and do they get snarky with you don't worry i know how you feel, fun fact old people are supposed to get angry but there are some old people brock past this unresniball thinking. i think people got this stereotype wrong as well so are all old people boring angry and ugly himm i don't think so. but not all old people are nice, so if you come across a mean one watch out. So don't be a sheep and follow the crowd no stereotypes are right. anyway i prepared this for all those old people listening here are three ways to live longer think yong stay positive and most importantly mann-age your stress levels as it could led to a heart attack and we wouldn't want that would we.

Persuasion Map

I believe that sports should be compulsory, for all schools in new zealand. It is not just me that thinks this, my fellow cousin Mr Oliver believes, it will not just help with your physical education but mental as will.

Sport is a wonderful thing, I believe that your brain works harder. Because you just would have done hand eye drills, so your brain is in gear ready to go.It is certain that your brain is working, and loads of blood is being pumped in and out so you will think harder. And suly you feel better because you have just had all the fresh ear, and if you had just ran around outside your not likely to fidel.

Do you eat too much unhealthy food? Do you now in a day you should only eat 9 teaspoons of sugar at the limit,In just under 33 years the number of overweight and obese people rose by 857 million. from the years
1980 to 2015 so keep fit.

It is certain that if you play a sport you will become a great team player. And you learn how to deal with
with people you will become more clear of your boundaries and your body. Not just this thought, you get a great persisting attitude and a healthy body.

To play sport is a privilege, and don't forget sport will make you happier, healthier and smarter.

Docking

In 2014 on a fine september morning Grace, Dad, Ben, Woolley, and I were on our way to benedale
for three exhausting long days to dock.

We woke up to the glint,of the early morning sun. As bacon sizzled in the hot pan,  Grace and myself loaded the heavy barrels on to the truck. As sown as we had dun that, we headed off to work.

The day started of niss because every one helped, first of I was spraying .then the sun hit me, rays rost my skin as sweat streamed off my face i try to carry on but the going got tough. This is what happened over all three of the tiring  days at work.

It was a well worth it, and it was a fun three days.         Image result for tail docking sheep

Insulation

Photovoltaic panels are a method, of converting solar energy into a current of electricity.

The system traps the sun rays, with the panels on the roof. The rays are also known as,photons or particles of light. Then  the panel knock electrons  free from the atom, then that generates a flow of electricity to power consumers around the house.

The solar panels hold many smaller units called cells.

They are very beneficial because they cut costs, and they cost nothing to run. And they will last a life time. I think they are great invention, and within three years they will pay off! and don't forget they pay themselves off completely by the sun

WALT: create a character disruption

                                                               character description
Mr cowly was a wonderful wise old man,he hobbled along the road with his aged coat ,and monstrous hat
drifted from side to side on his head,as he walked. his delighted smile said hello to his friend.when he talked he spat to or three meters because his teeth had disappeared.
Mr cowly had an orange peel smile he had a baggy face and his bulging chin drops off his face.Mr cowly was a frail man,I think if he did to much he would deform like a puzzle falling off a table he was very lanky and chucked when he talked. his narrow eyes stared waiting and wondering
